These healthy chocolate hemp pumpkin seed energy balls are just the snack you need to boost your energy and deliver a dose of minerals, protein, and satiating fibre and healthy fats.

Homemade energy balls are easy to make, healthy, and package-free. What’s not to love? I recently developed these chocolate super seed energy balls on a whim one afternoon when I was in need of a boost and wanted something wholesome, nutrient-dense, and chocolatey.

I haven’t developed too many energy ball recipes (or snack recipes, for that matter), so I thought these would make the perfect addition to the collection.

They take less than ten minutes to whip up, and can then be kept in the fridge or freezer for whenever you need a little boost in between meals. And you know what? They are awfully tasty when crumbled and used as a topping on hot oatmeal or smoothie bowls, too! Try it!

Oh, and also… maybe this is a silly idea, but these would make a great little holiday gift to the health nut or athlete on your list. Package them in a cute box or tin and call them “jingle balls.”

Are you tired of me yet?

ingredients you’ll need for these energy balls

You’ll need pumpkin seeds, hemp, chia, cocoa, Medjool dates, vanilla extract, sea salt, sunflower seed butter, and maple syrup.
