Scale
- 6 8-inch pitas
- 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
- 2–3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 5–ounce cans tuna packed in water, drained
- 3/4 cup castelvetrano olives or 6 tablespoons capers (or a combination)
- 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and spread each pita with 1/4 cup of sauce.
- Add 1/3 cup to 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella to each pita, depending on the size of your pitas and desired amount of cheese. (If your pitas are smaller, use less, and if they’re 8 inches or larger, use 1/2 cup.)
- Evenly divide the tuna between the pitas and add the olives and red onion.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the pitas are somewhat crispy.
- Optional: Broil for 1 minute to brown the cheese.
- Garnish with chili paste or hot red pepper flakes, if desired, and enjoy.
